There are as many clarinet bore tapers as there are barrel designers and makers… Every maker has what they feel is the best taper design…. This of course gives the player a lot of choices when trying barrels.. Basically there cannot be big differences in the tapers or the clarinet would not play great…. The way to try barrels is to do as much research as possible and then try the barrels to see what they do..
